Steph — Manager

Hello, I’m Steph, the Manager of Luxulyan Pre-School. I hold a Level 6 degree in Early Years and Childhood Studies and have been part of the pre-school team for 10 years. I am passionate about creating a nurturing, fun, and inspiring environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Outside of pre-school, I enjoy exploring the countryside on long walks with my dog, Waffle. I’m also a big fan of McFly and love watching musicals whenever I get the chance! I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such an important stage in children’s lives and enjoy supporting them as they develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Kim — Deputy Manager

Hello, I’m Kim, the Deputy Manager at Luxulyan Pre-School. I hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and have been part of the pre-school team for 7 years. I love supporting children as they learn, develop new skills, and grow in confidence during their early years.

Outside of pre-school, I enjoy spending time with my two children and our dog, making the most of everything Cornwall has to offer. Whether we’re exploring the coast, countryside, or local attractions, I love being outdoors and creating special family memories. I feel privileged to be part of each child’s early learning journey and enjoy helping to create a happy, caring, and stimulating environment for all our children.

Emma — Practitioner

Hello, I’m Emma. I am currently working towards my Level 3 qualification in Childcare and am passionate about supporting children as they learn, explore, and develop new skills. I particularly enjoy arts and crafts, encouraging creativity, and getting involved in messy play activities that inspire children’s imagination and curiosity.

I also love spending time outdoors and helping children discover and learn from the world around them. Being part of the Luxulyan Pre-School family is something I truly enjoy, and I love helping to create a warm, fun, and welcoming environment where every child can thrive.
